TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These conditions apply exclusively between ALESSANDRO MATTIOLI SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP – Registered office: Viale Giacobazzi, 111 – 41049 Sassuolo (MO) – Italy – VAT no. IT03917800363, hereinafter referred to as “Taste of Italy”, and any person making online purchases on the website www.tasteof-italy.com, hereinafter referred to as the “CUSTOMER”. These conditions may be subject to changes, and the date of publication on the website shall be deemed the effective date.
These conditions govern purchases made on www.tasteof-italy.com, in accordance with Part III, Title III, Chapter I of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree No. 206/2005), amended by Legislative Decree No. 21/2014 and Legislative Decree No. 70/2003 concerning e-commerce.
ARTICLE 1 – Subject of the Contract
Through these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, Bottega Emiliana sells and the CUSTOMER purchases remotely the tangible goods offered for sale on www.tasteof-italy.com. The contract is concluded exclusively via the Internet, by accessing the CUSTOMER to www.tasteof-italy.com and placing a purchase order as per the procedure provided.
The CUSTOMER agrees to read these General Terms and Conditions before confirming their order, particularly the pre-contractual information provided by Bottega Emiliana, and to accept them by ticking the appropriate checkbox.
ARTICLE 2 – Pre-contractual Information for the Consumer (Art. 49 of Legislative Decree 206/2005)
Before concluding the purchase contract, the CUSTOMER views the characteristics of the goods as illustrated in each product data sheet at the time of selection.
Before confirming the order with "payment obligation", the CUSTOMER is informed regarding:

the total price including taxes, with details of shipping and other costs;

payment methods;

the delivery timeframe;

terms and procedures for exercising the right of withdrawal (Article 6), and the standard withdrawal form (Annex I, Part B of Legislative Decree 21/2014);

the obligation for the CUSTOMER to bear the return shipping costs in case of withdrawal;

the legal warranty of conformity for purchased goods;
-
post-sales support and commercial guarantees provided by Bottega Emiliana.

ARTICLE 3 – Contract Conclusion and Effectiveness
The sales contract is deemed concluded upon Bottega Emiliana sending a confirmation email to the CUSTOMER. This email includes the CUSTOMER's details, order number, price, shipping costs, and delivery address.
The CUSTOMER undertakes to verify the accuracy of personal data and promptly notify any corrections.
Bottega Emiliana commits to describing and presenting the products as accurately as possible, although errors or minor differences may occur. Product photos are for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute a contractual element.
Bottega Emiliana commits to processing the order within 1-5 working days (depending on shipping method chosen by the CUSTOMER) from the confirmation email.
ARTICLE 4 – Product Availability
Product availability refers to real-time availability at the moment of the order. Due to multiple users on the site, items may be sold before order confirmation.
Even after the order confirmation email, total or partial unavailability may occur. In such cases, the order will be adjusted, and the CUSTOMER informed promptly via email.
If the CUSTOMER requests order cancellation, Bottega Emiliana will refund the paid amount within 14 days from the notice of cancellation.

ARTICLE 6 – Prices
All product prices on www.tasteof-italy.com are in Euro and include VAT (from 4% to 22%).
Bottega Emiliana may change prices at any time, but items will be billed based on the prices listed at order time and confirmed via email.
In case of pricing errors (due to technical or manual mistakes), the purchase will be voided and refunded within 14 days.
ARTICLE 7 – Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with applicable law, the CUSTOMER has 14 days to withdraw from the purchase without penalty or reason, starting from the date of receipt.
To exercise this right, the CUSTOMER must notify Bottega Emiliana via registered letter with return receipt or certified email (PEC):

Goods must be returned unused and intact within 14 days of withdrawal notice. Return shipping costs are borne by the CUSTOMER. Refunds cover product costs only, excluding shipping, and are issued via the same payment method.
ARTICLE 8 – Legal Warranty of Conformity
If products are received damaged or not as described, the CUSTOMER has the right to have the item repaired or replaced at no cost.
ARTICLE 9 – Delivery Methods
Bottega Emiliana delivers within Italy, the EU, and eligible non-EU countries (list available at checkout). Shipping is via courier to the address provided, within 1-5 working days from the order confirmation.
Shipping costs depend on weight, delivery method (standard, express, refrigerated, etc.), and destination.
Per Art. 63 of the Consumer Code, the CUSTOMER must immediately note any damage to the packaging on the delivery slip. Signing the delivery slip without reservation waives this right.
ARTICLE 10 – Liability
Taste of Italy is not liable for delays due to force majeure or issues beyond its control, including Internet malfunctions.
ARTICLE 11 – Site Access
The CUSTOMER may access the site for consultation and purchasing. No commercial use or reproduction is permitted. All content remains the intellectual property of Taste of Italy.
ARTICLE 12 – Cookies
The website www.tasteof-italy.com uses cookies to personalize user experience. The CUSTOMER can disable cookies via browser settings, but this may prevent online purchases.

ARTICLE 13 – Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties. If any clause is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
ARTICLE 14 – Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Disputes may be resolved via mediation (Legislative Decree 28/2010) or, for EU consumers, through the online dispute resolution platform:
